Endüstriyel Gürültü Ve İşitme Kaybı

Abstract

Endüstriyel gelişim sürecinde bulunan ülkemizde ortaya çıkan birçok sosyal problem arasında işçi sağlığı ve iş güvenliğini tehdit eden gürültü kirliliği problemi ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Bu problem toplumun bütün kesimlerini olumsuz yönde etkilemekle beraber daha çok endüstri alanında çalışan işçileri etkilemektedir. Bunun sonucu olarak, sensorinöral tipte kalıcı işitme kaybı oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda; ilimizde bulunan şeker fabrikasının değişik gürültü düzeyli ünitelerinde çalışan 101 işçinin işitme eşik seviyeleri ölçüldü ve gürültünün neden olduğu işitme kaybı araştırıldı. İstatistiksel olarak işitme kaybı yönünden 80 dB altında ve 87 dB üstünde gürültüye maruz kalan işçiler (p<0.05) ve 5 yıldan az ve 5 yıldan fazla süre çalışan işçiler arasında (p<0.001) anlamlı fark bulundu. Ortaya çıkan sonuç; eğitim, koruyucu başlık ve iş yerin in modernizasyonu gibi çeşitli koruyucu önlemlerle işitme yönünden endüstriyel kesim işçi sağlığının korunması gerekliliğini ortaya koymaktadır.

Environmental noise which is a negative effect on workman health and work security is a social problem ofour country that is on the process of industrial development. This problem cause sensorineural permanent hearing loss that is a result of negative effects on industrial workman, especially. In this study, hearing thresholds of 101 workers who work in a various noisy environmental in a sugar factory of our country were determined audiometricallyand negative effects ofnoisy environmental on the workman health. Statistically, significant differences were found with respect to hearing loss between workers exposed to noise levels under 80 dB and above 87 dB (p<0.05) and between workers exposed to noise under and above 5 years (p<0.001). These results show that hearing protection measures, such as education, protective cask and modernize of noisy factory, are absolutely needed for workers who work n a no sy environmental.
