Investigation of Childhood to Be Made in Emotional and Behavioral Problems with Graduate Thesis on Turkey

Abstract

Öz:Bu çalışmanın amacı, duygusal ve davranışsal sorunlarla ilgili Türkiye’de yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Ulusal Tez Merkezi internet sitesinden ulaşılan 145 yüksek lisans, doktora ve tıpta uzmanlık tezleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacılar tarafından araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak hazırlanan veri toplama formu oluşturulmuştur. İncelenen tezler, veri toplama formunda yer alan sorular doğrultusunda incelenmiş, elde edilen verilerin frekans ve yüzdeleri analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda duygusal ve davranışsal sorunları içeren en fazla çalışmanın tıpta uzmanlık tezi (%44.83) olduğu; yıllara göre bakıldığında en fazla 2000-2009 yılları arasında (%41) çalışma yapıldığı saptanmıştır. Çalışma gruplarına bakıldığında en fazla farklı yaş grubundaki çocuklar (%39.31) üzerinde çalışmaların yapıldığı; lisansüstü çalışmalarında en fazla amaçsal örnekleme tekniğinin (%58.62) kullanıldığı görülmüştür. Hastalık türü/çalışılan sorun türüne göre en fazla birden fazla bozukluk türünü aynı anda çalışılan (%50.34) lisansüstü tezlere rastlanmıştır. İncelenen lisansüstü tezlerin çoğunlukla tam metin (%79.31) olarak ulaşıldığı; anabilim dalları incelendiğinde duygusal ve davranışsal sorunlarla ilgili lisansüstü çalışmaların çoğunluğunun Çocuk Ruh Sağlığı/Çocuk Ergen Ruh Sağlığı ve Hastalıkları anabilim dalında (%30.34) yayınlandığı tespit edilmiştir. İncelenen lisansüstü tezlerde model ve desen olarak en fazla betimsel model (%42.76) çalışıldığı; yöntemine bakıldığındaysa en fazla nicel araştırma yönteminin (%67.59) kullanıldığı görülmüştür.

Abstract:The purpose of this study is the examination of graduate theses related with emotional and behavioral problems in Turkey. Descriptive scanning model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 145 master's, doctorate and medicial speciality theses which can be accessed from the website of National Thesis Center of Higher Education Institution. In the study, as a data collection tool, a data collection form was prepared by the researchers in accordance with the purpose of the research. The aforementioned theses were examined in accordance with the questions in the data collection form and the frequency and percentages of the obtained data were analyzed. As a result of the research, it was found that the most studies including emotional and behavioral problems were the medicial speciality theses (44.83%); the most dense period is 2000-2009 with (% 41) studies. When the study groups were examined, it was found that the studies were mostly done on children (39.31%) in different age groups; in graduate studies, purposeful sampling technique (58.62%) was used. Theses which studied more than one diaseses/problems at the same time have 50.34% of 145 theses. 79.31% of the postgraduate theses examined were mostly full text; the majority of graduate studies related to emotional and behavioral problems were published in the Department of Child Mental Health / Child Adolescent Mental Health and Diseases (30.34%). The descriptive model (42.76%) was the most used model and pattern in the theses examined; when the method of the dissertations examined, it was seen that the quantitative research was the most used method (67.59%).
