Küresel rekabetin işletmelerin üretim ve istihdam yapısı üzerindeki etkileri

Abstract

Kökeni 19. yüzyıla kadar giden küreselleşme olgusu akademik literatürde 1960’lardan sonra dünyadaki yeni ekonomik yapıyı betimlemek için kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Günümüzde küreselleşme olgusu dünyadaki tüm ekonomik sistemi etkileyen en önemli konulardan biridir. Bu çalışmada küreselleşme kavramı, küreselleşme nedeniyle değişen rekabet koşulları, dünyadaki yeni ekonomik düzen ve bu düzenin istihdam üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla, işletmelerin yeni ekonomik sistemdeki üretim ve maliyet yapılarını karşılaştırmak için fordist ve post fordist üretim biçimleri incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın ilerleyen bölümünde küreselleşmenin neden olduğu istihdam sorunlarına değinilmiş; küreselleşme perspektifi ve Avrupa Birliği istihdam politikaları ışığında Türkiye’deki istihdamın temel özellikleri, sorunları ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözümler incelenmiştir. Son olarak esnek çalışma biçimleri ve eğitim programları mevcut istihdam sorunlarına çözüm olarak önerilmiştir.

The globalization phenomenon, which has started to be used in academic literature to define the new economic pattern after 1960s, emerged in the 19th century. Today globalization phenomenon is one of the most important determinant which affect whole economic system in the world. In this paper, the concept of globalization, changing competition conditions because of globalization, new economic system of the world and its effect on the employment were examined. To illustrate, it was examined fordist and post fordist production systems to compare the production process and cost patterns of the companies in the new economic system. In advance it is focused the employment problems which were brought forth by globalization process. And also it was specified the main characteristics and problems of the employment structure in Turkey from the perspective of globalization and European Union employment policies. Finally examining the some approaches to solve the employment problems flexible working methods and education programs were proposed as solutions for unemployment problems.
