KÜRESELLEŞMENİN KENTLERİN EKONOMİK GELİŞİMLERİ ÜZERİNE ETKİLERİ: TR 72 BÖLGESİ İLLERİ AÇISINDAN BİR KARŞILAŞTIRMA

Abstract

Öz:Küreselleşme olgusu ekonomik, politik ve sosyo-kültürel açılardan tüm dünya ülkelerini etkilemektedir. Ticaretin ve sermaye hareketliliğinin hız kazandığı bu sürece, ülkeler ve kentler farklı biçimlerde eklemlenmiştir. Kentlerin kapitalist küresel sisteme farklı biçimlerde eklemlenmesi, onların eşitsiz ekonomik gelişmesine yol açmaktadır. Küresel sisteme eklemlenebilen ve ulusal/uluslararası sermayeyi çekebilme başarısı elde eden kentler ekonomik bakımdan ilerleme gösterirken sisteme eklemlenemeyen kentler ise geride kalmaktadır. Bu durum ülkeler arası ya da bölgeler arası düzeyde eşitsizlik biçiminde görülebileceği gibi aynı bölgedeki iller arasında da eşitsizlik biçiminde görülebilmektedir. Bu durumun en iyi örnekleyen il gruplarından biri de TR 72 Bölgesinde bulunan Kayseri, Sivas ve Yozgat’tır. Bu illerin küresel sisteme farklı düzeylerde eklemlenmesi nedeniyle eşit düzeyde gerçekleşmeyen sermaye birikim süreçlerinin eşitsiz ekonomik gelişmeye yol açıyor olması çalışmanın hipotezini oluşturmaktadır. Bu ön kabulden hareketle Kayseri, Sivas ve Yozgat illerinin küresel sistem ile olan ilişki becerilerinin ekonomik yansımaları istatistiki veriler doğrultusunda ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre Sivas ve Yozgat illeri ekonomik gelişmişlik açısından, küresel sermaye için bir çekim merkezi haline gelen Kayseri ilinin gölgesinde kalmışlardır. Çalışmanın, Kayseri, Sivas ve Yozgat illerinin ekonomik düzeylerini küresel sistemle olan ilişkileri bağlamında ele alması bakımından literatüre katkı sunacağı düşünülmektedir.

Öz:The phenomenon of globalization, affects all countries of the world in terms of economic, political and socio-cultural aspects. Countries and cities are be added in different ways in this process, where trade and capital mobility accelerate. Cities that can be added to the global system and succeeded in attracting national / international capital have made economic progress, while those that cannot be added are left behind. In this study, the economic development levels of Kayseri, Sivas and Yozgat (TR 72 region), which are geographically adjacent to each other, will be examined in terms of their ability to added to the global system. Uneven realization of capital accumulation processes in Kayseri, Sivas and Yozgat provinces and the uneven economic development resulting from this constitute the main problem of the study. This study, it is based on the premise that the capacity of cities to be articulated to the global system leads to an unequal economic development. Economic reflections of Kayseri, Sivas and Yozgat provinces' relationship skills with the global system will be tried to be revealed in the light of statistical data. According to the results obtained from the study, the economic levels of these provinces, whose relations with the global system are unequal are also different from each other. The province of Kayseri has become a center of attraction in terms of global capital and has taken precedence over Sivas and Yozgat provinces economically. It is thought that the study will contribute to the literature in terms of handling the economic levels of the TR 72 region within the framework of their relations with the global system.
