Lojistik ve lojistik bilişim sistemleri gıda toptancılık sektöründe bir uygulama

Abstract

İşletmelerin lojistik birimleri, hammadde tedarikinden ürünün son kullanıcıya ulaştırılmasına kadar uzanan sürecin neredeyse hemen tüm aşamaları ile ilgilenmektedirler. İşletmeler için lojistik faaliyetler büyük bir maliyet kalemi oluşturmaktadır. İşletmelerde lojistik birimler, ayrı birer kar / masraf merkezi olarak kabul görmeye başlamıştır. Lojistik bilişim sistemleri, günlük işleyiş içerisinde kayıt altına alınan tüm verilerin süzülmesi, sınıflandırılması, tablolara aktarılması yoluyla anlamlı bilgilere dönüştürülmesini sağlamaktadır. Çalışan ve yöneticilerin yetkileri ölçüsünde, doğru bilgiye, doğru zamanda, doğru biçimde erişmelerini sağlayan bilişim sistemleri, sunduğu analiz ve rapor gibi çıktılarla doğru bilgiye dayalı kararlar alınabilmesi için altyapı sağlamaktadır.İşletmelerin dinamik çok boyutlu ve karmaşık iş süreçlerini yönetmek ve sorunların artık geleneksel yöntem ve sezgisel yaklaşımlarla çözümlenmesi olanaksız olmaktadır. Gerek iş süreçlerinin yönetilmesinde gerekse karar alma sürecinin her aşamasında kantitatif bilgi, veri, yorum ve sonuçlara eskiye oranla bugün çok daha gereksinim vardır.Lojistik ve lojistik bilişim sistemleri, gıda toptancılık sektöründe bir uygulama başlıklı çalışmam dört bölümden oluşmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde lojistik kavramı ele alınarak, lojistik ve lojistik yönetiminin faaliyetlerine ilişkin bir literatür çalışması yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde lojistik bilişim sistemleri altında lojistik faaliyetlerde kullanılan bilişim sistemleri ayrıntılı olarak ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise gıda toptancılık sektöründe lojistik bilişim sistemleri kullanımına yönelik uygulama araştırmasının istatistikleri ve analizleri yer almaktadır. Son olarak dördüncü bölümde ise çalışmanın sonuçları ve bu sonuçtan yola çıkarak yapılan öneriler bulunmaktadır.

Logistics units of the enterprises deal with almost all levels of processes, starting from raw material supply to transportation of the product to the end user. Logistics activities of enterprises generate an important cost item. Logistics units become a separate profit / cost centers within enterprises. Logistics information systems assure, filtering, classifying of daily recorded data and the transformation of these data to meaningful information with the help of charts. Within employees and managers authorization limits, information systems which allow reaching the accurate information, on the right time, in the right way, creates an infrastructure for taking decisions, based on correct information with outputs such as analyses and reports.It is almost impossible to manage dynamic, complicated and complex business processes of the enterprises and to solve the problems with traditional methods and intuitive approaches. Whether to manage the business processes or in every level of decision taking process, it is more needed the quantitative information, data and observation.This, Logistics and logistics information systems, a case study in food wholesaling sector titled study consists of four chapters. In the first chapter, a technical literature study had been done on logistics and activities of logistics management, by covering logistics terminology. In the second chapter, information systems which are being used in logistics business had been investigated in details. In the third chapter, the statistics and analyses of implementation research devoted to the usage of information systems in food wholesaling sector, takes place. Finally in the fourth chapter the results of the study and the suggestions revealed from the results will come up.
