dc.description.abstract This paper deals with computation of stabilizing decentralized PI controllers for fractional order two-input-two-output (FOTITO) systems. Inverted and simplified decoupling methods are adapted to FOTITO systems and the systems are decoupled into simpler subsystems. Stability regions of the subsystems are obtained and the parameters of the decentralized PI controllers that allows to be stable are calculated. It is demonstrated that both outputs of the FOTITO system are stable when the controller parameters are selected from the common of stable regions of subsystems. © 2021 IEEE.
