dc.description.abstract A series of NHC-derivative ligands was synthesized from bisbenzimidazole salts as the precursor of N-heterocyclic carbene with chalcogens, carbon disulfide, and phenyl isothiocyanate reagents. These new ligands were used in the Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction in the presence of palladium(II) acetate. Particularly, it was observed a remarkable ligand activity with tellurourea (5). © 2021 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
