el-Burhân fî ulûmi’l-Kur’an’da Hakikat ve Mecâz

Abstract

Bu çalışmamızda VIII. yüzyıl İslam âlimlerinden Zerkeşî’nin (öl. 794/1392), tefsir usulü alanında telif ettiği el-Burhan fî ulûmi’l-Kur’an isimli kitapta, belagat ilminin iki konusu olan hakikat ve mecazı nasıl ele aldığını incelemeye çalıştık. Zerkeşî, tefsir alanındaki boşluğu doldurmak ve hadis usulüne benzer sistematik bir usul kitabı olması amacıyla yazdığı el-Burhan fî ulûmi’l-Kur’an kitabında genelde dil öğelerine özelde ise belagat sanatlarına büyük önem vermiştir. Çünkü Zerkeşî’ye göre Kur’an bir dil ve belagat mucizesidir ve Kur’an’ın anlaşılması, dilinin anlaşılmasına bağlıdır. Onun için kitabının büyük bir kısmını bu hususlara ayırmıştır. Zerkeşî, mecâzın Kur’an’da varlığının İslam âlimleri tarafından tartışıldığını belirtir. Kur’an’da mecâzın olduğunu kabul edenlerle etmeyenlerin görüşleri ve kısaca delillerinden bahsettikten sonra, eğer Kur’an’da mecâz yoksa hazf, te’kîd ve kıssaların tekrarı gibi konuların da bir anlamı kalmaz, diyerek kendi görüşünü açıklamaktadır. Bu kısa girişten sonra, şunu söyleyebiliriz: Zerkeşî, mecâz konusunu, detaylı şekilde ele almaktadır. Belagat kitaplarında anlatılan mecâzın kısımları olan mecâz-ı aklî, mecâz-ı lugavî ve bunların alt kısımlarını genişçe anlatarak her birine Kur’an’dan değişik örnekler vermektedir. Ele aldığı konularla ilgili muhakkik âlimlerin düşünce ve görüşlerini de sağlıklı bir şekilde aktararak bir araştırmacının Kur’ân ilimleriyle ilgili asla müstağni kalamayacağı bir çalışma ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada Zerkeşî’nin Kur’an’ın bu belagat yönü ile ilgili yaptığı kapsamlı çalışması tanıtılmaya ve ortaya konulmaya çalışılacaktır.

In this study, it is examined how Al-Zarkashi (d. 794/1392), one of the 8th century Islamic scholars, handled the two subjects of the science of Arabic rhetoric named al-Haqiqah wa al-Majaz in his book entitled al-burhān fī `ulūm al-Qur’an with the thought of helping the understanding of the Qur’an. In order to fill the gap in the field of Tafsir, Al-Zarkashi gave great importance to language elements in general and to the rhetoric arts in particular, in his book al-burhān fī `ulūm al-Qur’an, which he wrote to have a systematic method book similar to the Hadith Method. Because, for Al-Zarkashi, the Qur’an is a miracle of language and rhetoric, and the understanding of the Qur’an depends on the understanding of its language. Al-Zarkashi states that the Qur’an is full of truth, but the existence of the metaphor is discussed by Islamic scholars. He mentions the opinions of those who accept the existence of the metaphor in the Qur’an and those who do not, and briefly the evidence of both sides. After that, by explaining his own opinion he says, “If there is no metaphor in the Qur’an, issues such as al-hazf, al-ta’qid and the repetition of parables are meaningless.” He also refutes the evidence of those who say there is no metaphor in the Qur’an. After this brief introduction, he deals with the subject of metaphors in a way which is rare even in rhetoric books. He extensively describes al-Majaz al-Aqli and al-Majaz al-Lughawi with their subheadings which are parts of metaphor as described in rhetoric books and he gives different examples from the Qur’an for each of these parts. By conveying the thoughts and opinions of the investigator scholars about the subjects he handled, he put forward a study that a researcher would never be needless about the sciences of the Qur’an.
