dc.description.abstract Background: No studies have investigated of the relationship between high school students’ attitudes towards addictive substances and their social exclusion status. Objectives: This study aimed to identify the relationship between the social exclusion status of high school students and their attitudes on addictive substances. Methods: A total of 385 students from 5 high schools in Elazığ, Turkey formed the sample group of the study. Results: Results from the regression analysis performed as part of this study showed that there was a positive relationship between the feelings of exclusion and neglect that the students experienced and their social exclusion. © 2021 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
