Ortaöğretim Türk dili ve edebiyatı derslerinde metin türlerinin öğretimi ile ilgili öğretmen görüşleri (Malatya ili örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, ortaöğretim Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı derslerinde metin türlerinin öğretimi ile ilgili durum ayrıntılarıyla tespit edilerek TDE öğretiminde ana malzeme olan metin türlerinin daha iyi öğretilebilmesi için çözümler bulabilmek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel ve nicel araştırma desenleri, art arda, keşfedici karma desen olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma evrenini Malatya ilinde görev yapan TDE dersi öğretmenleri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın nitel verilerini toplamak için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu, nicel verileri toplamak için ise araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın nitel boyutu için 32 öğretmenle görüşme yapılmış, nicel boyutu içinse 349 öğretmene anket uygulanmıştır. Nitel veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiş, nicel veriler ise betimsel ve çıkarımsal istatistiki yöntemlerle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel ve nicel sonuçları ayrı ayrı değerlendirilmiştir. Buna göre öğrenciler metin türlerini tespit ederken metni oluşturan birim, metnin yazılış amacı, gerçeklikle ilişkisi ve metinde kullanılan anlatım türü gibi değişkenlere dikkat etmektedir. Öğretmenler, öğrencilere metin türlerini öğretirken yukarıdaki değişkenlere ek olarak metinde olayın varlığına/yokluğuna, kurgunun olup olmamasına, kelimelerin kazandığı anlamsal değişimlere vb. dikkat çekmektedir. Ders kitaplarındaki metinlerin geneli türünün belirgin özelliklerini yansıtmaktadır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara uygun olarak bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur. Bunlardan birkaçı benzer çalışmaların ortaokul ve lise düzeyinde farklı illerde yapılabileceği, öğretmenlerin metin türlerinin öğretimi noktasında bilinçlendirilebileceği ve yazma becerisi için özel bir ders ayrılması gerektiği şeklindedir.

In this study, it is aimed to determine the situation related to the teaching of text types in secondary education Turkish Language and Literature lessons in detail and to find solutions for better teaching of text types, which are the main materials in TLL teaching. In the research, qualitative and quantitative research designs were used consecutively as exploratory mixed design. The study population of the research consists of TLL teachers working in Malatya. A semi-structured interview form was used to collect qualitative data of the study, and a questionnaire developed by the researcher was used to collect quantitative data. For the qualitative dimension of the study, 32 teachers were interviewed, and for the quantitative dimension 349 teachers were interviewed. Qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis method, and quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistical methods. The qualitative and quantitative results of the study were evaluated separately. Accordingly, while determining the text types, students pay attention to variables such as the unit that creates the text, the purpose of the text, its relation to reality, and the type of expression used in the text. In addition to the variables above, when teachers teach the types of texts to students, the presence / absence of the event in the text, the absence of fiction, the semantic changes that words gain, etc. draws attention. The texts in the textbooks generally reflect the distinctive features of the genre. Some suggestions were made in accordance with the results obtained in the study. Some of them are that similar studies can be done in different provinces at secondary and high school levels, teachers can be made aware of the teaching of text types and a special lesson should be allocated for writing skills.
