%52.7, trimetoprim-sulfametoksazol %37.7, ampisilin-sulbaktam %31.7, amoksisilin-klavulonat %36.4, sefuroksimaksetil %17.8,
sefotaksim %13.2, seftriakson %13.7, gentamisin %19.2, amikasin %5.2 oranında dirençli saptandı. E.coli kökenlerinin hepsi imipeneme
duyarlı bulunmuştur. Çalışmaya alınan 151 E.coli suşunun 16’sında (%10.5) ve 18 Klebsiella spp suşunun 5’inde (%27.7) GSBL
saptanmıştır. Ampirik olarak yaygın kullanılan ampisilin (%56.7), amoksisilin-klavunat (%38.2) ve trimetoprim-sülfametoksazole
(%38.7) direncin yüksek olduğu dikkat çekmektedir. Sonuçlar çocukluk döneminde üriner enfeksiyon tedavisinde antibiyogram
yapılmasının önemini ve gerekliliğini göstermektedir.
In this study, the bacteria and their antibiotic susceptibilities from the urine samples of pediatric patients were evaluated retrospectively.
202 urine cultures were included in the study. The most common causative agent was Escherichia coli (E. coli) (74.7%) followed by
Enterobacter spp. (8.9%) Enterococcus spp. (6.9%) was the most common isolated gram positive bacteria. Antibiotic resistance were
detected for E. coli as 52.7% to ampicillin, 37.7% to trimethoprim-sulphamethoxazole, 31.7% to ampicillin-sulbactam, 36.4% to
amoxicillin-clavulanat, 17.8% to cefuroximeaxetil, 13.2% to cefotaxim, 13.7% to ceftriaxone, 19.2% to gentamycine and 5.2% to
amikacin . All E.coli isolates were susceptible to imipenem. Sixteen of 151 E.coli strains (10.5%) and 5 of 18 Klebsiella spp strains
(27.7%) produced ESBL.It was found that resistance to empirically and frequently used ampicillin (56.2%) and amoxicillinclavulanat(38.2%)
and trimetoprim-sulphametoxasol(38.7%) and was high. This state of affairs indicates the significance and necessity of
performing antibiogram in the treatment of urinary infections in children.
