Bu araştırma '1990-2000 Yılları Arası Üretilen Pop Müziklerin 'sosyo-kültürel', 'psiko-sosyal' açılardan incelenmesi' amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın ilk aşamasında, literatür taraması yapılarak, 1990-2000 yılları üretilmiş pop müzikler ve Türk popüler müzik tarihi ile ilgili mevcut kaynaklar incelenmiş, araştırma sınırlılıkları (1990-2000) içerisinde bulunan pop şarkıları günümüzde popüler olan sosyal medya uygulamalarındaki (instagram – youtube vs.) 22 hesap ile kişisel görüşme ve top listeleri baz alınarak örneklem için en çok dinlenen 100 şarkı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci aşamasında, örneklem grubunu oluşturan 1990-2000 yılları arası üretilmiş pop şarkılarının objektif değerlendirilebilmesi amacıyla "değerlendirme ölçeği" hazırlanmıştır. Alan uzmanlarının görüşleri dikkate alınarak değerlendirme ölçeği hazırlanmıştır. Ayrıca, seçilmiş olan "100" pop müzik şarkı notası ve özelliklerini içeren bir tanıtım kartı oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın son aşamasında 1990-2000 yılları arası üretilmiş "100" pop şarkı, alanında uzman kişiler eşliğinde ses kayıtları ve video örnekleri incelenerek değerlendirme ölçeğine tabi tutulmuş, elde edilen veriler istatistik programlar vasıtasıyla sayısal verilere ve görsel grafiklere dönüştürülmüştür. Yapılan araştırmada; 1990-2000 yılları arasında yaşanmış olan toplumsal gelişmelerin sadece ekonomik, siyasal, sosyolojik, psikolojik alanlar haricinde dönemin müzik yapısının şekillenmesinde de etkin bir rol üstlenmiş olduğu, üretilen çalışmalarda Batı müziği, elektronik müzik alt yapı çalışmalarının ve Türk müziği makamsal izlerin harmanından oluşan bir yaklaşım sergilenmekte olduğu, yaklaşımın ise 1990-2000 yılları arası ve sonraki yıllar için pop müzik kavramının da standart kimliğine bürünmesine zemin hazırlamış olabileceği, dönemi diğer popüler müzik akımlarından ayıran farklardan biri olarak bir önceki kuşak müzisyenlerin dönemdeki genç müzisyenlere destek vermesi ve beraber üretim anlayışının benimsenmiş olması, 90'lı yıllar boyunca birçok yorumcu, beste ve söz yazarı çeşitliliği olduğu, bu durumun ise müzikal çeşitliliği arttırmış olabileceği, dönemde özel ve sürekli müzik yayını yapan TV kanallarının, özel radyo ve haftalık veya aylık yayınlanmış müzik-magazin dergilerinin pop müziğin tanıtımı, gelişimi ve yönelimi üzerinde etkili olabildiği, günümüzde doksanlar Türkçe pop müziğin tanıtımında ve hatırlanmasında sosyal medyanın aktif bir olgu olduğu, kitlelerin sosyal medya aracılığı ile müziklere ulaşabilmenin yanı sıra sosyal medya sayfaları aracılığıyla bir yığın oluşturabildikleri; örneklem grubu çerisinde yer alan Türkçe pop müziklerin genel olarak minör tonaliteye sahip olduğu, 1-1,5 oktav ses sınırı içerisinde ve dört zamanlı ritmik kalıpla ölçülmüş olduğu, metronom ve müzik süresi olarak yakın oranlara sahip olduğu elde edilen sonuçlardan bazıları olarak yer almaktadır.

Considering the opinions of field experts, 10 questions were prepared for the assessment scale. In addition, an introductory card containing the selected "100" pop music song scores and features was created. At the last stage of the research, "100" pop songs produced between 1990 and 2000 were subjected to evaluation scale by examining sound recordings and video samples accompanied by experts in the field, and the data obtained were transformed into numerical data and visual graphics through statistical programs. In the research conducted; In the works produced, an approach consisting of a blend of Western music, electronic music infrastructure studies and Turkish music modal traces is exhibited, in which the social developments that took place between 1990-2000 played an active role in shaping the musical structure of the period, not only in the fields of economic, political, sociological and psychology.
