Öz:Betimleyici metodun kullanıldığı bu araştırmanın amacı ana hatlarıyla bir dönüşüm örneklemi olarak medrese kurumunun geçirdiği evreleri Selçuklu ve Osmanlı'dan Cumhuriyet'e kadar ele almaktır. Bu sınırlandırma nedeniyle Türk eğitim-öğretiminin gelişimi, Selçuklu, Osmanlı ve Cumhuriyet dönemlerini odağa koyarak bir tasnife tabi tutmuştur. Bu şekilde bir tasnifleme yapılınca da dini (İslami) eğitim-öğretim medrese kurumunun yaşadığı kurumsal dönüşümün ortaya çıkarılmasında bir hareket noktası olarak seçilmiştir.

Öz (İngilizce):This study attempts to illustrate by a descriptive method. The objective of this article is to study an outline of madrasah institution as a transformation model. Because of this the development of Turkish education had been classified into three periods; Seljuk era, Ottoman era and Republic era. As a result of this classification, it is necessary to choose the religious education as the starting point of the explanation of the subject for an outline of madrasah institution as a transformation model.
